Wig Attachment
The method of bonding requires the area to be hairless in order to secure the wig securely.
Step 1: Prep Your Hairline
The first step is to cut the lace back to the hairline. Be careful not to cut any of the hair. Place the wig on your head. Position the wig hairline about ¼ cm in front of your actual hairline so you don’t have to worry about the glue touching your hair. Once you are satisfied with the matching of the wig and your hairline, trim the lace back to the hairline and match it with your own hairline to ensure a natural appearance.
Step 2: Clean
Use Scalp Protector (optional) around the perimeter of your head to ensure a clean base. Start with the front of your head and then attach the back, and finally the sides. Please use a skin protector to create a layer between your skin and the glue to avoid dermatitis. Oily skin weakens the bond of the adhesives and prevents the strongest hold. Allow the Scalp Protector to dry before applying the glue.
Step 3: Adhesive Application
Mity TiteUltra Hold
Apply a thin coat of glue around the perimeter. Use a cool blow dryer to for about 30-45 seconds to dry the glue until it's tacky/sticky. The glue takes about 15 minutes to get tacky. Apply another thin coat and repeat the same step. Please do now apply the lace onto the glue until it's very sticky or your wig will lift in a couple of days.
Use a blow dryer on cool heat (lowest setting, never hot) to dry the glue until it is a little sticky to the touch. Press the unit and glued area together and apply constant pressure until the unit stays by itself. This may take a little longer so please be patient!.
Repeat the steps for your nape and sides. Before you style the wig please wait 15 minutes to allow the glue to adhere and completely dry.
Ultra Hold
Do not use too much of this glue! I recommend using a small, thin item such as an eye shadow brush to apply the adhesive. The brush that comes with the bottle is to big and messy!

Wig Removal
C-22 adhesive remover and 99% Alcohol will assist in removing your unit. Spray C-22 generously and allow the glue remover to work. Do not pull or tug the lace, it will damage your lace and your hair. Once the glue has loosened, gently pull the lace away from your head. Gently remove the excess glue from the lace with a towel, fine tooth comb, or toothbrush. Use the alcohol for the final cleaning step. Do not pull the lace or attempt to force it off, or you may damage your skin and the lace. You should be able to roll the excess glue off of your skin and wig once the remover has set.
